Anti-drug

“Why are you so addicted”, a drama staged at education threatre, was co-organized by HKTDA and particpated by Pentecostal Lam Hon Kwong School and Po Leung Kuk Chong Kee Ting Primary School, has developed into a highly effective medium to disseminate message of fighting drugs. This play, which has visited many districts and re-run for a dozen times, is well received for its interesting and interactive content and its capacity in eliciting response from the audience. It is thus valued as a new education model by the Education Bureau and the Department of Health.

Targetting the issue of drug abuse in teenagers, HKTDA, with Ms. Tsui Wai King, the principal, and Ms. Yu Wai Kwan, who both work in Po Leung Kuk Chong Kee Ting Primary School, began to write the script for “Why are you so addicted”in the last quarter of 2009. After painstaking rehersal and preparation, the drama had its debut in Shatin Town Hall last April responding to an invitation from  Junior Police Call. This play was also played in different venues, such as Hong Kong Stadium, Pentecostal Lam Hon Kwong School, and Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School, etc.
