化解戲劇活動時的尷尬

筆者在校負責戲劇工作,一次跟同工交流談到以下問題:
「我在做戲劇活動時,嘗試讓學生體會當中角色的情感,但發現學生未能掌握,而且學生做戲劇活動時感到尷尬,我未知應該如何化解。」
坊間有很多語文相關的戲劇活動,有大量體會角色情感的戲劇習式都在一鍵之間,香橙老師不必重覆。就直接進入同工的問題核心:「學生未能掌握」和「化解學生尷尬」。
安全的學習環境
試想像,如果課室隨時會被炸彈轟炸,並時刻都有天花倒塌的危險,學生能否安心學習?好!貼地一點!一隻蜜蜂在課室內橫衝直撞,學生能否專心上課?當人類遇到不確定因素時,大腦就會分泌皮質醇,令人收斂退縮,有機會不敢嘗試;如果學生身邊的人和事帶有威脅,或肢體碰撞,或言語攻擊,學生就會退縮。因此,在進行戲劇活動前,師生必須協議互相尊重。教師也應以身作則,對學生多認同,少批判。
尊重發展進程
任何初學的技能,都是先由未能掌握開始。要增加學生參與的意欲,活動本身要有意義,並是學生能夠應付,循序漸進。如果希望學生能站在黑板前演戲,小步子是先確保學生能讀懂對白,再加上語氣,然後在兩三名相熟同學面前練習,再加動作,最後在眾人面前表演。要學生體會角色的情感,也需要教師刻意鋪排,按部就班。香橙老師想額外指出,要體會就要先有處境供學生代入,並要激發學生的同理心和想像力,前期功夫可真多,有機會再分享。
增加多巴胺分泌
多巴胺是腦內化學物質,其中一個效果是使人不會斤斤計較。當團隊達成共同目標,或完成一個艱難的戲劇活動,簡單如拍手慶祝,都足以令學生分泌多巴胺;配合老師臉上親切的笑容,師生間鏡像神經元相互影響,最終希望課室所有人都掛著笑臉,享受學習。多巴胺也令學生傾向勇於接受戲劇活動的挑戰,不在意會否在同學面前露出醜態。還有一個心得:不論是否戲劇課,想學生做的,老師都要先做。
